During the war, Or HaShalom Institutions stood at the forefront of giving and compassion – alongside the brave IDF soldiers and the cherished IDF widows, who carry on their shoulders the pain of loss and the challenges of daily life. Out of deep commitment to the people of Israel and to mutual responsibility, the organization provided holy books, prayer books, Psalms, and other sacred items to bases and the front line. At the same time, IDF widows received financial aid checks, with the sincere intention of easing, even slightly, their challenging daily routine. This support was given wholeheartedly, driven by the belief that it is our moral duty to stand by those who have given their most precious for the security of the State of Israel.
